Die 1. Herrenmannschaft erreichte in der 2. Bezirksliga einen soliden sechsten Platz. Mit 6 Siegen aus 14 Spielen und einem Torverhältnis von 171:176 zeigte das Team stabile Leistungen, häufig mit engen Spielausgängen. Besonders positiv war, dass die Mannschaft ihre Stärken im Umschaltspiel immer weiter ausbauen konnte und sich trotz starker Konkurrenz aus Braunschweig, Misburg und Hildesheim gut behauptete.
